Cool story bro

When trying to tell a story, there can be many factors at play. Who are you trying trying to tell the story to. In what time period or setting is the story set. And finally, why are you trying to tell this story in the first place. Many of us who see ourselves as creatives, battle with this constant uncertainty that leaves us at a stalemate. We have to remember to breathe in these times and give ourselves the grace we did when we first started creating. Or we can keep being mad at ourselves and destroy any chance of trusting our creative voices again. Do you want to know what I do when I am in these times of uncertainty?

I begin to create. I know I picked up my pen/stylus for a reason. I may not know what exactly that reason is, but I choose to find out. The act of “creation” is unique to each and every one of us. What sparks my interest, may not spark yours. But one thing is for certain: we both have a creative spark. All I can do is harness my own thoughts and bare them out artistically on the digital canvas. Now comes the time to answer the question that I proposed. Why do we create? We create because we enjoy it. And I create because I choose to find out my purpose. Telling a full story is always going to be a daunting task. However every good story starts with the first stroke of the pen. I hope all who read my blog see my post as a reason to share your story. What is that message that you want to share and how can you help another person grow by telling it.
